About the Program

Mission Possible Home supports women who are ready to move toward healing, stability, and self-sufficiency. The program serves up to five women at a time in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

We focus on women who are:

  • Experiencing homelessness and considered low-risk
  • Open to support and case management

What We Offer

This three-month residential program includes:

  • Goal setting and case management
  • A savings plan with 60% of income set aside
  • Daily responsibilities that build life skills and community
  • Workshops focused on health, growth, and personal development

Extensions may be available for participants actively working toward housing or other major goals.

Our Approach

We believe in dignity, accountability, and creating a pathway forward. The program is supported by volunteers and community partners who help connect participants to services, support, and opportunities for long-term stability.

Together, we are helping women in Del Norte County build stronger futures through support, structure, and community.

Our Navigation Center provides a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals experiencing homelessness can access critical resources and services in one central location.

Services Available

Through partnerships with local government agencies and nonprofit organizations, we help individuals navigate systems of care, overcome barriers, and access essential services, including:

  • Health Care & Behavioral Health Services
  • Social Services & Case Management
  • Mental Health Support
  • Emergency Food & Clothing Assistance
  • Employment & Job Training Resources
  • Housing Referrals & Coordinated Entry

Our team walks alongside each participant to help build trust, set goals, and take meaningful steps toward long-term stability. Whether someone is experiencing a crisis or simply needs guidance, the Navigation Center serves as a hub for connection, compassion, and hope.

We believe in meeting people where they are — with dignity, respect, and consistent support.

About the Program

Community Shower Outreach began in 2019 during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide hygiene services when public facilities closed. What started as a temporary response quickly became an important community resource for individuals experiencing homelessness, seniors, and people with disabilities.

Today, the program provides showers, support, resources, and connection through a partnership led by the Del Norte Senior Center and Del Norte Mission Possible.

Community Partners

  • Del Norte County Social Services
  • Del Norte Senior Center
  • Pacific Pantry
  • Open Door Clinic
  • Coordinated Entry & HMIS
  • HUD
  • Local churches and volunteers

Together, we are providing dignity, connection, and pathways to support for our community.

16,000 Pounds Removed Each Month

Del Norte Mission Possible supports ongoing community cleanup efforts led by members of the unhoused community. Together, these efforts remove an average of 16,000 pounds of trash each month from areas throughout Del Norte County, including Southbend.

These cleanups reflect pride, responsibility, and a commitment to improving the community for everyone. Much of the waste collected comes from illegal dumping, yet it is often members of the unhoused community who step forward to help restore these areas.

We are deeply grateful to DN Solid Waste and to every volunteer and participant who continues to make this work possible.

These efforts are helping lay the foundation for Mission Redemption, DNMP’s upcoming employment and workforce development program. Mission Redemption will focus on creating pathways to paid work, job readiness, life skills, and opportunities for individuals working to rebuild stability and purpose through community impact.
