Mission Possible Home supports women who are ready to take the next step toward healing, stability, and long-term self-sufficiency. The program serves up to five women at a time, starting with two participants as we build a strong foundation.
We focus on women who are:
This three-month residential program provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment, including:
Extensions may be considered for participants actively working toward housing or other major goals.
We believe in dignity, accountability, and restoring a sense of purpose. Many participants go on to continue their journey toward stability—and some may return as peer mentors.
The program is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers and community partners who provide guidance, supervision, and connection to essential services.
Together, we are creating a pathway forward for women in Del Norte County—through support, structure, and community.

Our Navigation Center provides a welcoming space where individuals experiencing homelessness can access the support they need to move forward — all in one location.

👉 Please arrive early—shower spots fill up quickly.
Community Shower Outreach began in 2019 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when public facilities closed and many in our community lost access to basic hygiene. Del Norte Mission Possible partnered with Del Norte County Social Services to provide safe, temporary shower access—starting with a small motel-based program.
What began as a short-term solution quickly revealed a broader need. In addition to individuals experiencing homelessness, seniors and people with disabilities relied on this service for health, dignity, and connection. The program became a critical access point for support.
As the program grew, so did community support. Today, Community Shower Outreach is a collaborative effort providing more than hygiene—it’s a place for connection, resources, and care.
In 2021, the Del Norte Senior Center formally launched the mobile shower program. Del Norte Mission Possible continues to support operations through hospitality, supplies, and case management, alongside a strong network of partners.
Together, we are meeting people where they are—providing dignity, connection, and a pathway to further support.

16,000 Pounds Removed Each Month
Del Norte Mission Possible continues to support regular cleanup efforts led by members of our unhoused community. These efforts have already removed well over thousands of pounds of trash from areas like Southbend — a powerful example of pride, responsibility, and the potential within our community.
While much of the waste collected results from illegal dumping by housed individuals, it's often the unhoused community who step up to lead the cleanup efforts. Their commitment and hard work demonstrate that lacking housing does not equate to lacking worth or purpose.
We extend our deepest thanks to DN Solid Waste and to every participant who shows up to make a difference.
These efforts are laying the groundwork for DNMP’s upcoming Clean Sweep program — a workforce development initiative that will formalize opportunities for paid training, job readiness, and community impact.
